Begin by removing the guard on the leaf collector. Once you have removed the guard you can now remove the impeller. To remove the impeller, start by removing the bolt on the top of the motor shaft (this bolt is left hand thread) and then loosening the set screw on the side of the impeller. Once you have done that, the impeller will be able to be removed and you can begin to clean inside the leaf collector. If the impeller is difficult to remove we recommend using a pulley puller. Use a putty knife to scrape the inside. DO NOT pressure wash the leaf collector.
